Stunning miniature still life of Eric Cederberg’s classic combination of pears with a jug. A simple but striking compostion of acid green and yellow pears contrast against the dark tones of the abstract jug. Signed upper left corner.
Painted in tempera oil on board.
In excellent condition and housed in a gilt frame with linen inserts.

Cederberg began exhibiting in 1922 and is known for his Surrealist still lifes and landscape paintings. He is represented throughout many museums in Sweden and his works are highly collectable. This little one would look perfect in a bedroom or on a library shelf.
